Does Kinnavo replace my contacts?
No.
Your contacts stay in Apple Contacts, exactly where they are. Kinnavo adds a layer of organization — lists, context, and quick actions. It can change a card only when you ask it to — for example, when you give someone a hashtag yourself.
Where is my data stored?
Your contacts never leave Apple Contacts.
Sticky notes and your work lists sync privately through your own iCloud. Your search history, Gems, languages and quick actions stay on your device.
We don't collect your data, we don't see it, and we don't sell it.
Do I need to organize my contacts first?
You do not need to redo them.
Hashtag lists need one thing from you: write a word after # in a card's name, nickname, company or job title — from there Kinnavo builds the list itself. Department is kept for work lists: a word written there does not join a hashtag list.
What are sticky notes?
A sticky note is a note about a person that you write yourself: one per card. Sticky notes sync through your own private iCloud and are visible on all your devices. They are free.
What are hashtag lists?
Write a word after # in a card's name, nickname, company or job title — it becomes a list. Everyone carrying the same word lands in it. A word written in Department does not join such a list: that field is kept for work lists, and those are unlocked by Professional Mode.
Such a list builds itself: you never delete it, it disappears together with the word. Hashtag lists are free.
What is Professional Mode?
Professional Mode is unlocked with a one-time purchase. It adds a dedicated Work Section so your work contacts stay separate from your personal ones.
It includes:
- Work Lists — fill themselves from a word with # written in the Department field.
- Pinned List — one list that's always just one tap away.
- Apple Shortcuts — run any shortcut right on the list you have open.
Professional Mode includes only these features and nothing more.
It is a one-time purchase, not a subscription.
We don't promise future additions — you get exactly the features you see today.
Most people will never need Professional Mode, and that's completely fine.
The personal side of Kinnavo remains completely free.
I purchased Professional Mode, but it isn't activated.
Open Kinnavo, go to the Professional Mode screen, and tap Restore Purchase.
If Professional Mode still isn't activated after that, email us and we'll be happy to help.
